Yeah, I know you have seen cupcakes before.But It 's always great to bake your own goodies. I made these little cuties for my girls and they adored them.
Recipe for the cup cakes:
250 g butter
250g caster sugar
250 grams self raising flour
2 tsp of vanilla essence
Cream the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs and add vanilla. Sieve the flour over the mixture and fold in gently using a metal spoon.
Grease your patty pan tray, and place your paper patty pans and spray them lightly with cooking oil spray.
Spoon the cake mixture into the cases.
Bake in a moderate oven (180 C,350 F) for 15-20 minutes.
Turn out of the baking tray and them cool on a wire tray before you decorate. .
225g icing sugar(sieved)
Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl mix until well mixed.
|Practice piping your frosting on a plate, this will give you a great head start before you start decorating on your cupcakes..and you don't want crumbs on your frosting right.....|
