Custard Buns I came across these soft, sweet and delicious custard buns which are available at my local shopping centre, from BON BON bakers, they were so lovely and I wanted to give it a go. This recipe calls for a basic sweet dough, and custard is used as a filling. Sweet Dough Bread flour 500g 2 Eggs 50 g Butter 3tbsp caster Sugar 1tsp Salt 2 1/2 tsp dry yeast 1/2Luke warm Water+ 1/2 cup warm milk Custard Filling 40g Sugar 2 eggs 20g plain flour 20g corn flour 210g milk 40g butter 1/2 tsp salt For the Filling To make the filling sift plain flour and corn flour.. Mix well with beaten eggs. In a saucepan heat milk, sugar and salt and stir. Add the egg mixture and stir until thickens remove from heat and stir in butter and chill.
