Savoury Buns Dough : Ingredients 1/2 cup Milk 1/2cup water 3 tbsp  unsalted butter 4 cups flour 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast 3 tbsp sugar 3 eggs beaten 2 tsp salt (1 egg  beaten with 2 tbsps water, for egg wash) sesame seeds(optional) Instructions Prepare a warm water mixture: In a small saucepan, combine the milk, water, and butter. Warm over medium heat until butter is melted. Cool for about 5 minutes, or until the temperature is 120-130 degrees F. In a large bowl combine 2 cups of the flour, the yeast, sugar and salt. Add the warm water mixture , followed by the beaten eggs, ( mixing on low speed if using an electric stand mixer fitted with a dough hook which makes the job pretty easier! ).  Add the remaining flour 2 tablespoons at a time (while mixing on medium-low speed until dough almost clears the bowl) and is only a slightly sticky to the touch (It's okay if some dough sticks to your fingers). Sri Lankan Fish Balls   These fish balls are a really  popular Sri Lankan finger  food widely known as Fish Cutlets back in Sri Lanka. Great  served as a starter or a side dish for any occasion!  Ingredients: 425g can mackerel/ Tuna 1 large brown onion peeled and  finely chopped 2 cloves of garlic finely grated  1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper/ red chilli powder 1 tsp cumin 1-1/2 tsp  black pepper 5 medium sized potatoes boiled and mashed 1 large green chilli(deseeded and finely chopped) 1 tbsp Soy sauce 1tbsp Tomato sauce 2 tsp Lime or Lemon juice Salt to taste.   Roll Ups! Looking for an easy  savory dish to add to your next party?These roll ups are easy and cheap to make. Ingredients 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 tbsp milk powder warm water for kneading, 1slightly beaten egg 2 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp oil 4 tbsp melted butter 2   1/2 tsp instant yeast 1 tsp salt 1 extra egg for glazing.  8 cocktail frankfurts(mini) Tomato sauce finely chopped parsley  Sieve the flour, then add milk powder, sugar, yeast and salt. Then add the oil and butter and the egg, and mix together.   Start kneading together by   gradually adding the warm water a little at a time.   Knead really well until your dough is nice and soft. Knead for a good 8-10 minutes. The more you knead it the softer the buns will be.
