Chocolate Brownies

Chocolate Brownies These  "chocolatey " treats which I baked over the weekend, were super soft and wonderfully moist , Not too fudgy or cakey... they just melt in your mouth, I loved the beautiful dry cracked crust which formed onto the top of these brownies! Thanks to my sister, who persuaded me into baking these lovelies ..obviously her pics did... Here is the recipe : 150g semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chopped 1/2 cup (1 stick) (113 grams) unsalted butter, cut into pieces 2 tablespoons (15 grams) cocoa powder 1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 3 large eggs 3/4 cup (95 grams) all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup chopped cashew nuts 1. Chocolate Cheesecake with Sour Cherry Sauce

 Chocolate Cheesecake with Sour Cherry Sauce (adapted from taste.com.au ) This is a delicious baked cheesecake ,  the sour cream made it very creamy. , which added a new depth of flavour. Ingredients For  The Cheesecake 250 g pkt plain sweet biscuit 125 g unsalted butter, softened 500g cream cheese at  room temperature 100g or 1/2 cup caster sugar 1 tsp vanilla essence  3 eggs 1 tbsp corn flour  300ml sour cream 180g  chocolate melted(t he original recipe calls for white  chocolate ) Ingredients  For The Sour Cherry Sauce 1 tbsp corn flour 2 tbsp cold water  360 g jar pitted Morello cherries (I used half of the jar) 2 tsp caster sugar 2 whole star anise Method   Line the base of a 19cm (base) spring-form  pan with baking sheet. Triple Layered Dessert

T his triple-layered dessert is great for potlucks. And the best part is that you can put them together in a few minutes. Got this delicious recipe from a dear friend.  Begin by making the sponge. For the sponge you will need,  4 extra large eggs 1/3 cup of self-raising flour 1/3 cup plain flour 1/3 of corn flour 2/3 cup caster sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1 tbsp butter Method   Preheat oven to 180 C. Grease the baking dish with butter and line with baking paper. Sift corn flour, self-raising and plain flour together three times. In a separate bowl beat eggs with an electric mixer until creamy, pale and tippled in volume in a large glass bowl for about 10 minutes. Gradually beat in sugar. Gradually sift the flour mixture over the egg mixture, and fold until well combined.  Pour mixture into the baking tray, and bake for 15-20 minutes.   Next, make the chocolate custard ... For the chocolate custard you will need , 500ml fresh milk 4tbsp Sugar
