Wall Art : Fork & Spoon

Sand Wall Art      I am so excited to share this  really easy canvas art project that anyone can do . Begin by painting your canvases  using colour of your choice. Here i have blended black and red for my canvas. I  just used regular poster paints. For the final coating, mix some PVA glue with the paint, and before it dries out,  get your fork and spoon and position them on your canvas . Next get some sand (i got mine ,from my kid's sandpit)  and start dusting it on the canvas by using a sieve.   Sand and sieve           Carefully lift the fork and spoon. Finally let them dry completely. Your masterpieces are ready to adorn your kitchen or dining.     Cheers!! and thank you for hopping onto my blog!

Felt craft for little girls

Hand Bags for Little Girls This is an easy project to introduce sewing for your kids. I did this with my girls, who were longing to learn how to use a needle.  But most importantly they can not have enough bags!   This a great holiday project . Felt is so easy to work with because it requires no hemming . Things you will need : A sheet of felt.   A beautiful  button A dollar-store party bag necklace Needle and thread A pair of scissors 1.   Begin by sewing a  button onto the felt.       2. And then make a slit for the buttonhole, 3. Sew the sides Help your child stitch the sides of the purse...If your child is big enough, you can teach her to "blanket stitch" the sides for a prettier look. I found these shiny necklaces in my daughter's party bag! 4. Use some dollar-store shiny necklaces as the straps for the purse. Inexpensive dollar-store supplies were used for this project
